Ter uitbreiding zijn wij op zoek naar een Quality Manager. Het betreft een zelfstandige, autonome en internationale rol, waarin nauw wordt samengewerkt met diverse stakeholders binnen de organisatie. In deze functie rapporteer je aan de CEO.

Doel functie:
Het doel van de Quality Manager is het drijven van kwaliteitsverbeteringen. Ook zul jij bezig zijn met het verder ontwikkelen, bewaken en onderhouden van een organisatie breed kwaliteitssysteem. Dit doe je door knelpunten te inventariseren en met verschillende afdelingen en bedrijfsonderdelen kwaliteitsplannen op te stellen en het proces van implementatie te bewaken. Daarnaast zorg je voor een veilige en gezonde werkomgeving.

Belangrijke taken:

• het verder terugdringen van het aantal klachten en claims door met betrokkenen root causes te analyseren en structurele verbeteringen te realiseren.
• het verder ontwikkelen, bewaken en onderhouden van een kwaliteitssysteem, waarbij je de kwaliteit van producten/processen/diensten op niveau houdt en indien nodig brengt.
• kwaliteitseisen van klanten, overheden en consumenten borgen in productie, logistiek en inkoopactiviteiten. Kwaliteitscontrole borgen en verbeteringen borgen.
• aanjagen van een cultuur van continue verbeteren en juist kwaliteitsbesef.
• het doen van veiligheidsrondes, coördineren van de RI&E en BHV organisatie.
• optreden als projectleider van certificeringsprojecten, waarbij je een meerjarenplan opstelt voor auditplanning en draagt zorg voor de uitvoering.
• gesprekpartner zijn voor externe auditors, overheden, leveranciers op gebied van kwaliteit.
• het vormen van een internationaal kwaliteitsteam dat niet hiërarchisch, maar wel functioneel aan QM rapporteert.
• het coördineren van de uitvoering van audits en het zorgen voor opvolging van de resultaten uit deze audits.
• een visie hebben op het gebied van gezondheid en veiligheid (health & safety) en zorgt ervoor dat deze visie vertaald wordt naar een veilige en gezonde werkomgeving, waar monitoring en rapportage onderdeel van uitmaakt.
• in samenwerking met leveranciers zorgdragen voor de uitvoering van kwaliteitscontroles en inspecties van grondstoffen tot eindproduct.
• het zorgdragen voor het up-to-date houden van werkvoorschriften en procedures conform actuele wet- en regelgeving.
• het adviseren (gevraagd en ongevraagd), faciliteren en ondersteunen van management en directie om aan de vastgestelde kwaliteitseisen te voldoen en hen te ondersteunen bij het nemen van verantwoorde besluiten over het integrale kwaliteitsbeleid.

Profiel:

• je hebt een afgeronde HBO/WO opleiding.
• 8-15 jaar ervaring als Quality Manager binnen een wat groter internationaal bedrijf.
• ervaring met sourcing vanuit het Verre Oosten is een pre.
• je hebt kennis van internationale audit modellen, processen en certificering.
• je hebt affiniteit met stoffen, hardware en productie.
• je kunt als geen ander plannen en organiseren en projectmanagement is jou op het lijf geschreven.
• je bent een motivator en coach.
• je kunt laten zien wat het belang is van kwaliteitsbewaking en wat dit oplevert voor zowel je collega’s als voor de organisatie als geheel.
• je bent daadkrachtig, oplossings- en mensgericht.
• je bent hands-on om kwaliteitsprojecten te ondersteunen en uit te voeren.
• je bent resultaatgericht, analytisch, kritisch en doortastend.
• uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal in woord en geschrift.
• je bent bereid om op regelmatige basis te reizen.

We are looking for a Quality Manager to expand. It concerns an independent, autonomous and international role, in which there is close a collaboration with various stakeholders within the organization. In this position, you report to the CEO.

Purpose of the position:
The purpose of the Quality Manager is to drive quality improvements. You will also be involved in the further development, monitoring and maintenance of an organization-wide quality system. You do this by inventorying bottlenecks and drawing up quality plans with various departments and business units and monitoring the implementation process. In addition, you ensure a safe and healthy working environment.

Important tasks:

• further reducing the number of complaints and claims by analyzing root causes with those involved and achieving structural improvements.
• the further development, monitoring and maintenance of a quality system, in which you keep the quality of products/processes/services at a high level and, if necessary, bring it to the level.
• guarantee quality requirements of customers, governments and consumers in production, logistics and purchasing activities. Securing quality control and securing improvements.
• fostering a culture of continuous improvement and a sense of quality.
• conducting safety rounds, coordinating the RI&E and BHV organization.
• acting as a project leader of certification projects, where you draw up a multi-year plan for audit planning and take care of the implementation.
• being a discussion partner for external auditors, governments, suppliers in the field of quality.
• forming an international quality team that does not report hierarchically, but functionally to QM.
• coordinating the execution of audits and ensure to follow-up the results of these audits.
• have a vision in the field of health and safety and ensure that this vision is translated into a safe and healthy working environment, of which monitoring and reporting is part.
• in cooperation with suppliers, ensure the execution of quality controls and inspections from raw materials to end product.
• ensuring that work regulations and procedures are kept up-to-date in accordance with current laws and regulations.
• advising (solicited and unsolicited), facilitating and supporting management and Board of Directors to meet the established quality requirements and to support them in making responsible decisions about the integral quality policy.

Profile:

• you completed a HBO/WO education.
• at least 8-15 years of experience as a Quality Manager within a somewhat larger international company.
• experience with sourcing from the Far East is a plus.
• you have knowledge of international audit models, processes and certification.
• you have affinity with fabrics, hardware and production.
• you can plan and organize like no other and project management is made for you.
• you are a motivator and coach.
• you can show the importance of quality assurance and what this yields for both your colleagues and the organization as a whole.
• you are decisive, solution- and people-oriented.
• you are hands-on to support and execute quality projects.
• you are result-oriented, analytical, critical and decisive.
• excellent command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
